We’re writing to share an important update about the President’s Reception. The 2025 Fort Edmonton Foundation President’s Reception is cancelled.
As you may have seen, earlier today we sent an updated invitation for the event. We had rescheduled in hopes of avoiding a potential conflict with a possible Oilers Game 7—wanting to ensure our guests wouldn’t have to choose between the reception and cheering on our hometown team.
However, after further reflection, the difficult decision has been made not to proceed with the event at this time. While we were hopeful the new date would allow us to gather and celebrate, it became clear that moving forward was not the right decision. We’re exploring alternative ways to connect and celebrate with you later this year and will share updates as those plans come together.
We’re so grateful to everyone who had saved the date or planned to attend, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. Thank you again for your understanding—and for being part of the Fort Edmonton Foundation community. We look forward to seeing you soon.
