Retirement Announcement:
Janet Tryhuba, Executive Director of Fort Edmonton Foundation
Today, I would like to publicly announce that I am ending my tenure as Executive Director of the Fort Edmonton Foundation at the end of August. The Board of Directors is currently working on a recruitment strategy for my successor, and I will support and transition the new Executive Director into this role.
After an exciting six years of leading this Foundation through a major Capital Campaign and supporting new fundraising initiatives at Fort Edmonton Foundation, I am looking forward to enjoying what retirement will bring. This role has allowed me to focus on understanding what is important to the donors and supporters of Fort Edmonton Park and helping this organization thrive and be sustainable for the future.
Looking back and enjoying the new enhancements to Fort Edmonton Park that our Foundation is helping to support, I am proud of what my team and I have accomplished, and I leave feeling I have truly made a difference. Thank you to our amazing donors and supporters, incredible Board of Directors, the dedicated Foundation staff and volunteer team, and the team of Fort Edmonton Management Company and the City of Edmonton for looking after our City’s treasured asset, Fort Edmonton Park. I’m truly grateful to have had this fantastic experience.
Thank you,
Janet Tryhuba, CFRE
